Sales Representative for a leading Optical Network Provider in NE Ohio. After an unsuccessful attempt with another search firm, through a past relationship with Superior Search Groups new Managing Director, the Director of Sales contacted us to see if we could assist them with this critical sales positions. Getting a complete job description and gaining an understanding of the company and culture, we were able to respond quickly with a short list of five candidates which two were scheduled for interviews. After two additional rounds of interviews the client had us make the offer and close the deal. In less than 40 days after the first call form our new client the position was filled and the candidate started two weeks later.

Production Supervisor for a global solutions provider for high performance and severe duty brake, clutch and transmission applications at their Bloomington, Indiana location. After unsuccessful attempts to fill the position internally, Superior Search Group was contacted to see if we could assist them with this critical position. A complete job description and extensive conversation with key internal personnel in Bloomington, Indiana and Solon, Ohio, allowed us to compile an extensive list of potential candidates. Three candidates were submitted for consideration, one was interviewed and an offer was accepted 28 days after beginning the search.  

Controls Project Manager for a leader in the HVAC industry. Superior Search Group was contacted to assist our client with this critical new hire for their new Controls Division. After obtaining a complete job description and having a lengthy conversation with the hiring manager, we were able to get a complete understanding of the technical skills the client was seeking, and those they weren’t. One well-qualified candidate was sourced and interviewed multiple times by various company personnel. An offer was made and accepted in just over two weeks for this extremely critical position and the candidate started three weeks later.

Business Manager for a global metals recycler based here in N.E. Ohio. The client contacted us to fill their new Business Manager role.  After meeting with the hiring manager to better understand the company and the position, we embarked on a thorough search. After 2 weeks of aggressive recruiting, we presented 5 strong candidates that were interviewed by the client. After several rounds of interviews, the client directed us to extend an offer to their top candidate, which was accepted. Despite some delays on the client side due to travel and vacation schedules of key decision makers, the search was wrapped up in about 60 days from inception.

Quality Engineer for a specialty plastics manufacturer here in N.E. Ohio. A client that we had placed a Technical Sales Manager with in the past contacted us about filling a business critical role. Upon meeting with the hiring managers and touring the production facilities, our team immediately began the search. After 2 weeks we had identified and presented 3 strong candidates with plastics experience. After the initial round of interviews, the client targeted their top candidate and brought the candidate back for a final interview with the leadership team, which included a full plant tour. The client made the offer which was accepted and the candidate started right away. From start to finish, the search was successfully completed within 5 weeks.

Manufacturing Engineer for a leading medical products manufacturer based here in N.E. Ohio. The client, a long time Staffing and Pre-Employment Screening client, contacted us about helping them fill an Engineering need. The client had been using 3 other recruiters that had been unable to fill the role. We accepted the challenge of filling a “tough to fill” role and after meeting with Human Resources and the hiring managers, we began the recruiting efforts. Within 2 weeks we presented 2 candidates with related engineering experience. After interviewing the first candidate, they brought him back for a final interview. An offer was extended and accepted and 2 weeks later, the candidate started.

Manufacturing Process Engineer for a century-old punch and die manufacturer located in N.E. Ohio. The client is a long-time partner and after unsuccessful attempts on their own to fill this position, they contacted us to engage us on this critical position. We met with the Leadership team in our offices and discussed in detail what they were looking for in a candidate and the challenges they have faced over the years filling this tough-to-fill position. We began our recruiting efforts October 9th and after numerous recruiting calls, presented our first candidate 2 weeks later. Over the next 9 days, the candidate had three interviews. Although there were various challenges along the way, including a vacation the candidate took out of state after the third interview, an offer was made and accepted 11 days later. This entire process, from initial recruiting to offer acceptance, was a one-candidate interview and took 34 days.

Quality Manager for a brand new start-up firm in NE Ohio serving an environmentally conscious niche for the trucking industry. The client previously recruited on their own for a different role and did not want to “go through all that again” so they engaged us as their exclusive search firm. We met with various staff members including the Vice President, Engineering Manager and Controller and also took a tour of their offices and assembly facility. Our extensive recruiting efforts allowed us to present 3 very qualified candidates, all of whom were interviewed. The client chose 2 candidates for the 2nd round of interviews and made an offer to their top choice. This was a 31 day placement from initial recruiting to offer acceptance. The client subsequently engaged us exclusively to fill their open Design Engineer role.
